SHIPPING AND PAYMENTS

Currently shipping to Norway, UK, European Union and US.

We are working to be able to ship EDDA worldwide soon. We will keep you updated!

Thank you for purchasing one of our products! We do our best to ship your order as quickly as possible. Please note that your order will be shipped within 2 to 5 working days of your order being placed. No orders will be shipped over weekends and during UK bank holidays.

Our main shipment providers are DHL and Royal Mail.

We will notify you via email, once your order has been shipped.

 

SHIPPING TIMES

After your purchase has been shipped out, our shipment providers aims to deliver your parcel within the following amount of working days:

UK : 2-3 working days

Norway : 5-10 working days

US: 5-10 working days

European Union: 5-10 working days

Please note that Royal Mail, DHL and Posten Norge have been experiencing some delays with their deliveries due to covid-19. We are very sorry if this happens with your order, unfortunately this is out of our control. SHIPPING FEES

The shipment cost will be added to your order at the checkout. The shipment costs will vary depending on the shipment destination and the package weight and dimensions. 


VAT

VAT will be calculated and added at check-out for orders placed to the UK and Norway.

UK: 20% VAT

Norway: 25% VAT

US:  No VAT will be added at checkout, but taxes and duties may be charged at the border of the recipient state. Please see CUSTOMS, TAXES AND DUTIES section for more details. 

European Union: No VAT will be added at checkout, but taxes and duties will be charged at the border of the recipient country. Please see CUSTOMS, TAXES AND DUTIES section for more details.

 

ORDER STATUS

All orders are sent via Royal Mail or DHL and delivered by Posten Norge for shipments  to Norway. 

Once your order has been shipped, you will receive a confirmation email stating which shipment provider has been used.

You can check the status of your order using the tracking number provided in the shipment confirmation email you will receive.

ORDERING TO THE UK

 

We are using Royal Mail and DHL for all our shipments. Once your order is being shipped you will receive a shipping confirmation email including a tracking number. Please use this tracking number on the Royal Mail or DHL website or app to locate your parcel.

ORDERING TO NORWAY

We use Royal Mail or DHL as our shipment providers for all orders.


DHL

Orders shipped with DHL will be delivered directly to your door. If you are not home, they will make 3 attempts to deliver the parcel, after which the parcel will be shipped back to us. 


Once your order is being shipped you will receive a shipping confirmation email including a tracking number. Please use this tracking number on the DHL website or app to locate your parcel: https://www.dhl.com/global-en/home/tracking.html


ROYAL MAIL

With Royal Mail, once your parcel crosses the Norwegian border Posten Norge will take over the delivery. The same tracking number can be used on both Royal Mail and Posten Norge websites. 


Small items will be delivered straight to your post-box, but bigger purchases will automatically be dropped at your nearest collection point. You will need to keep an eye on your shipment using the tracking number received in your shipment confirmation email. We recommend using the Posten Norge app, but you can also track your shipment via the Posten Norge website.

 

If you register on the Posten Norge app, you can select a fixed delivery place where packages that are too large for the mailbox will be delivered. You can also register to receive notification on your package via e-mail and SMS.

ORDERING TO THE US AND EUROPEAN UNION

PAYMENT METHODS

We accept payments from the following providers:

Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Shop Pay, Apple Pay and Google Pay.


IMPORT TAXES AND CUSTOM DUTIES

UK:

When ordering to the UK you will not have to pay any extra taxes and duties other than the UK VAT and shipment fees which will be applied at check-out.

 

Norway:

As we are VOEC registered, for shipment to Norway, no taxes and duties will be applied at the border. VAT and shipment cost will be applied at check-out.

 

US:

Taxes and duties will be charged at the border of the recipient country. Please note that the cost of the item and the shipping fees do not include any customs and/or import duties. Unfortunately import duties and taxes are out of our control and depend on the destination of the shipment. Therefore we are unable to advise on what they may be. It is the customers responsibility to pay any duty, tax or custom charges that may incur as well as complying to the laws and regulations of the state of destination. As customs policies vary significantly, it is recommended to look into your local custom office to determine what these additional costs will be prior to purchase.

Please note that taxes and duties are non refundable.

EDDA cannot be held responsible for any costs, taxes and/or delays due to customs clearance.

If the customer refuses the shipment, they will be responsible to cover the original & return shipping costs as well as any duties, taxes and/or customs charges that may occur, for both original and return shipments.
